Charmaine Ward is Co-Founder and Executive Coach for Coaching Catalyst.
She has over 25 years of corporate experience where she has held senior level positions with Fortune 500 companies in the technology, communications, financial services and manufacturing industries. She has created tremendous value as a corporate leader in the areas of corporate philanthropy, community affairs, diversity, marketing and sales. She is also a serial entrepreneur and has helped to develop many successful small businesses. Charmaine graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Clark Atlanta University and earned an MBA with honors from the Executive MBA program at Kennesaw State University. She is a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and an Associate Certified Coach with International Coach Federation (ICF).
Charmaine has been coaching for more than ten years and focuses on emerging leaders, high performing individuals, small business owners and non-profit leaders. She utilizes innovative assessments and coaching techniques to guide them through self-discovery to reach real breakthroughs and achieve goals. She is also a dynamic facilitator who motivates meeting participants to get results with her combination of real world experience, engaging style, active listening and probing questions. Charmaine loves to engage audiences and is a noted keynote speaker who has been dubbed “The Super Connector” because of her ability to connect people. She uses relevant stories and thought provoking research to inspire, inform and move audiences to action. As an Executive Coach, Facilitator and Keynote Speaker, she guides individuals, teams and organizations to “Perform Better, Smarter and Faster.”
Charmaine gives back by serving on many civic and community boards whose missions align with her personal passion of education, arts and entrepreneurship. She is proud and humbled to have been recognized for her work with many awards and honors. She serves on the board of the Urban League, True Colors Theatre, National Black Arts Festival, Atlanta Business League and the National Black MBA. She is an active member of the Links Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and alumni of United Way VIP, Leadership Atlanta and Leadership Georgia.
Charmaine’s personal mission is to be a CATALYST. Creating positive change in individuals, organizations and communities through coaching and servant leadership.
A native of Chicago, she is an avid reader, loves the theatre, and traveling to international destinations. She is very proud of her role in Kenny Leon’s “Steel Magnolias” film.
